• Highly digestible hydrolysed fish proteins and single source carbohydrate (potato starch) to manage the most common food allergies.
• Complete nutritional formulation to support long-term feeding in adult and senior dogs.
• Prebiotics, probiotics, fibres and bentonite to help manage gastrointestinal disorders linked to food allergies and support healthy gut flora, regular digestion and normal stools.
• Omega-3 and omega-6 fatty acids to support skin and coat health.

VETERINARY HPM® Hypoallergy Dog Food A2 is suitable as an elimination diet in the case of a suspected food intolerance or allergy. As a complete and balanced hypoallergenic dog food, it can also be used for long-term feeding once a food allergy or intolerance has been confirmed, with annual vet checks advised.

VETERINARY HPM® Hypoallergy DogFood A2 is a dry dog food for dogs with food allergies or intolerances, either diagnosed or highly suspected. It is suitable for adult and senior dogs but should not be given to puppies, pregnant or nursing dogs, or dogs with chronic kidney disease.

To ensure it is suitable for their needs, always check with your vet before giving your dog a new hypoallergenic dog food.

It’s always best to introduce new foods gradually. Mix a small amount of the new food with your dog’s current food, gradually increasing the amount until they’re exclusively eating the new food. Use the following schedule as a guide for a successful transition:

• Days 1-2 – 75% current food and 25% new food.
• Days 3-4 – 50% current food and 50% new food.
• Days 5-6 – 25% current food and 75% new food.
• Day 7 onwards – 100% new food.

The rations will depend on your dog’s age and body weight, so weigh your dog every month and adjust their rations as needed. If you’re unsure how much to feed your dog, always ask your vet or vet nurse for advice.
