VETERINARY HPM® Senior Neutered Dog Large & Medium* is a complete and balanced diet for senior dogs with a carefully formulated nutritional profile that supports them in their later years, plus it’s formulated with supplements that address their special requirements.

This VETERINARY HPM® dry dog food recipe is specially formulated for senior medium and large breeds that have been neutered and any senior dogs with a tendency to become overweight.

It is recommended for:

> Medium neutered dogs over 8 years (11-25 kg)
> Large neutered dogs over 6 years (over 25 kg)

It provides older dogs a balanced diet with a nutritional profile that supports them in their later years:

Weight control without feeling hungry: This VETERINARY HPM® dry dog food is formulated with low fat levels, high fibre and protein to reduce the energy content of the food, whilst ensuring your dogs feels satisfied. With the addition of L-carnitine, an amino acid that supports healthy fat metabolism.

Muscle mass and joint support: With a high 32% protein content, your medium or large senior dog is supported from losing muscle mass and feeling physically weak. To support the joints and keep them flexible, this formula contains natural chondroitin sulphate & glucosamine, added hyaluronic acid and egg shell membrane.

Renal health: This formula for senior large and medium breeds contains less phosphorus than regular adult dry dog food to help keep their kidney healthy and functioning well.

Healthy digestive system: Prebiotics and postbiotics support the growth of beneficial digestive flora in the gut. VETERINARY HPM® Adult Small & Toy Dog also includes psyllium fibre and bentonite to regulate the digestive system and ensure normal stool odour and consistency.

Skin and coat support: Maintaining healthy skin and coat function is essential for your senior dog’s health and general wellbeing. This dry dog food formula contains a balance of omega-6 and omega-3 fatty acids to support the skin’s barrier function and maintain a shiny coat.
