Food allergies and intolerances can seriously affect your cat's wellbeing and quality of life, and can present as digestive or skin issues. VETERINARY HPM® Hypoallergy Cat Food A2 is a hypoallergenic cat food formulated to help manage food intolerances and provide a long-term solution for skin and digestive issues.

• Formulated with hydrolysed single source protein
Breaking the fish protein down into tiny parts (‘hydrolysing’) means it’s less likely to be recognised as a threat by the immune system. The formulation also contains potato starch as a single carbohydrate source making it a great diet for an elimination trial or as long-term allergy/intolerance management.

• Skin and coat support
Contains omega-3, omega-6 and sulphur amino acids to contribute to a shiny coat and support the skin barrier, reinforcing the natural skin defences.

• Management of gastrointestinal disorders
VETERINARY HPM® Hypoallergy Cat Food A2 contains a specially selected blend of probiotics and prebiotics to help nurture the gut flora and support good digestive function. It is also formulated to be highly digestible to help support dogs with compromised digestive function.

To ensure Hypoallergy Cat Food A2 is still the best fit for your cat it is recommended to check in with your vet prior to using and before extending period of use. Not suitable for kittens, pregnant or nursing cats, or cats with chronic kidney disease.

Cats are naturally carnivores and need to eat an abundance of high-quality animal proteins for optimal health. VETERINARY HPM® Hypoallergy Cat Food A2 is formulated to meet these needs by providing high-quality animal protein, with 36% protein (100% hydrolysed fish protein) and 36% carbohydrates.

The rations will depend on your cat’s age and body weight, so weigh your cat every month and adjust their rations as needed. If you’re unsure how much to feed your cat, always ask your vet or vet nurse for advice.

It’s always best to introduce new foods gradually. Try mixing a small amount of the new food with your cat’s current food, gradually increasing the amount until they’re exclusively eating the new food. Use the following schedule as a guide for a successful transition:

• Days 1-2 – 75% current food and 25% new food.
• Days 3-4 – 50% current food and 50% new food.
• Days 5-6 – 25% current food and 75% new food.
• Day 7 onwards – 100% new food.
