Enerlyte® Plus is a complete rehydration supplement for calves and piglets. It is indicated to support physiological digestion by stabilising water and electrolyte balance during periods of, or recovery from, diarrhoea. Oral rehydration therapy is an important component of the treatment of calf scour as it helps restore sodium levels, correct acidosis and provides energy. Dehydrated calves can often have a decreased appetite, and the vanilla flavouring of Enerlyte Plus gives it excellent palatability.
One sachet of Enerlyte Plus easily mixes with 2 litres of warm water and can be fed 2 to 3 times a day for 2 to 7 days, in addition to separate normal milk feeding.
