FOR JASPER. AND ALL THE OTHER TIGERS IN TULIP CRESCENT.

VETERINARY HPM™ is an advanced high protein, low carbohydrate formulation specifically designed to support the long-term health and well-being of cats and dogs, the highly evolved carnivores in our own homes.

RUNNING SPEED

10 metres / second

On average, the running speed of cats is 40km/h (25mph).

Cats are not very good long-distance runners, they get tired rather quickly. Their greatest enjoyment does not come from running, but in hunting; they are predators above anything else.

SENSE OF BALANCE

Constant spatial awareness of the head's position

With a very large number of joints in their skeleton, a very mobile spine and over 500 muscles, cats have an astounding sense of balance. When they fall upside down from a great height, they usually manage to land on their feet by first turning their head, then their body.

AUDITORY SKILLS

Can select and locate sounds with great precision.

Cats have an auditory sensitivity clearly superior to that of humans. They can detect sounds with a frequency as high as 30,000 hertz, while humans can hear sounds only up to 20,000 hertz. Cats also have an amazing ability to select sounds, which enables them to isolate one sound among others. Their pivoting ears enable them to pinpoint where sounds come from with great accuracy.

AGILITY

Can jump up to 6 times their own height

Cats have special features which make them impressively agile: 5 digits on their front paws, only 4 of which touch ground (the rudimentary “thumb” does not), and 4 digits on their hind paws, with pads equipped with an elastic membrane.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS (FAQS)
  • How much should I feed my pet?

VETERINARY HPM™ is very palatable, but we do advise that you respect the daily rations recommended by your vet or vet nurse. Our general feeding guidelines can be found on every bag, but your vet or vet nurse can provide you with a recommendation tailored specifically to your pet.

  • Where is VETERINARY HPM™ produced?

    picture-france-south-small.png

VETERINARY HPM™ is produced in our own factory in France, more precisely in Vauvert, close to Nîmes. This site has been producing quality pet food since 1988, and thanks to a dedicated team of veterinary surgeons and pet nutritionists, we have been able to meet the very high expectations of pet owners in terms of food quality, traceability and safety for over 30 years.

  • My pet is drinking more. Is this normal?

A dog should drink 50-70ml/kg of their bodyweight each day, whilst cats should consume 60ml/kg.

With VETERINARY HPM™, thanks to its higher amount of protein compared to other dry foods, your pet will naturally consume more water. So don't be surprised if they start drinking more water than usual - that's a good thing!
